The Dream Makers (The Dream Keeper Chronicles Book 3) Kindle Edition
The exciting conclusion of the bestselling middle grade fantasy adventure THE DREAM KEEPER CHRONICLES by award winning author Mikey Brooks.
When Mares escapes into the world of Awake, it is left to Gladamyr and his teen bonds, Parker and Kaelyn, to stop him. They must return the most evil nightmare ever to exist back to Dreams before the barrier between the two worlds crumbles and darkness reigns forever. But to do so, Parker and Kaelyn must heal broken friendships and unite an army of children who are brave enough to conquer their fears.
Alice called it Wonderland. Dorothey called it Oz. Nightmares call it HOME.

About the author
When he’s not saving the world from evil villains, teaching art, or changing diapers, Mikey Brooks is writing, illustrating, or daydreaming (his favorite!). He’s published ten middle-grade books and several more picture books--some of them have even won awards! He lives in Utah with his beautiful wife, their six adorable kiddos, a very clingy boxador, too many fish to count, and one or two invisible dragons. You can learn more about him at www.mikeybrooks.com

** I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR MY READING PLEASURE **
Normally, when I write a review like this, I go into detail about the plot, the characters and the style of writing or what I loved or hated about the book. I can't do that for this one. I literally just finished reading this book and my heart is broken.
There are so many characters that tugged the heart strings, from the beginning to the end of the book. Some characters I'd hated and some I'd loved in previous books, but in this book it all came together until all the lines between good and bad, black and white were blurred.
I enjoyed going back, in the first chapter, to when Liz was little and getting to know more about her journey and how the librarian fitted in. I loved the inclusion of Jason, Cato and all the kids, good and bad, that they knew. For being fourteen, all these kids were strong enough to know and recognise when they were needed. They all pushed aside their personal grievances to come together and support each other.
Another excellent instalment in the series. I'm so sad it's over.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2017I liked it - a little uneven at times but overall a fun read - I read the entire trilogy and it left me with a nice feeling at the end.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2014The Dream Keepers and their bonds are about to face the biggest battle of their lives. They must defeat Mares, the ultimate nightmare, and restore balance to the worlds of Awake and Dream. But just when they think this is the final conflict, a new threat arises--a Void, ready to swallow up everything they've worked to save!
This--of all the books in the trilogy--is the most heart-pounding, crazy ride of all. I don't know how Brooks kept up the pace, but for almost the whole book, I thought, "Surely this is it! This is the grand finale!" But wait--there's more! I absolutely loved the whole series, and this book finishes the story in a very satisfying, promising way. The characters evolve in meaningful ways, and the relationships are credible. This will make a spectacular movie some day. Somebody call Spielberg!
